Quality Assurance & inspections

Quality Assurance (QA) is the systematic process of ensuring that construction is done right the first time.
At Sunray Civil Works, QA begins long before construction starts and continues through every stage of the project. It involves proper planning, standard operating procedures, and quality control systems designed to prevent errors rather than just detect them.

Our QA process includes:

  • Careful selection and testing of raw materials such as cement, steel, and aggregates.

  • Following Indian Standard codes (IS) for design, mixing, and execution.

  • Using approved construction methods and mix ratios to ensure consistency.

  • Skilled supervision and staff training to maintain workmanship standards.

  • Implementing a documented workflow, from design approval to finishing, ensuring every activity meets technical and safety norms.

In simple terms, Quality Assurance is about building confidence — it guarantees that the entire construction process is planned, monitored, and controlled to achieve long-lasting, reliable results.

🔍 Inspections

Inspections are the practical part of quality control — where each stage of work is physically verified, tested, and approved before moving to the next phase.
At Sunray Civil Works, our site engineers and supervisors conduct stage-wise inspections to ensure that materials, dimensions, and workmanship meet our quality benchmarks.

These inspections include:

  • Foundation Inspections: Checking soil compaction, reinforcement spacing, and concrete strength.

  • Structural Inspections: Verifying column alignment, slab thickness, and curing quality.

  • Masonry & Finishing Checks: Ensuring wall levels, plaster uniformity, and accurate tile alignment.

  • System Testing: Plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and waterproofing layers are tested for functionality and safety.

All inspections are recorded in site reports, and only after approval does the next stage begin. This process minimizes rework, improves safety, and ensures the project adheres to specifications
